Adjustable and Functional
These padded guards cover the thigh from the groin down to the knee. A crucial advantage is the lacing system on the back. This allows you to adjust the circumference exactly to your thigh, whether you wear them on bare skin, over braies, or over chainmail hose. The top edge features loops for tying them to a belt or arming doublet to prevent slipping.
Material and Craftsmanship
The guards are made of durable 100% cotton with an internal padding thickness of approximately 1 cm (0.4 inches). This layer is thick enough to dampen blows but remains flexible. The fabric surface has a natural look (off-white/ecru) that suits most historical costumes.

Care Instructions
- Hand wash in cold water (max. 30°C / 86°F).
- Do not tumble dry; let air dry naturally.
- Wash separately using a mild detergent.
Recommended Accessories
Please note, a belt for suspension is not included. We recommend purchasing a sturdy leather belt or a specialized arming belt to tie the legs to.
