BlackField Standard Telescopic Baton with Wrist Strap: Everyday Security
Secure Grip and Optimal Length
The extended length of 21 inches (53 cm) is considered the "golden mean." It gives you enough distance from an attacker, but the baton is still easy to maneuver even in tighter spaces (e.g., hallways, elevators). The handle is covered with a layer of foam rubber, which is soft, pleasant to the touch, and above all, non-slip. A key benefit of this model is the nylon loop at the end of the handle. If you slip it over your wrist, an attacker cannot easily snatch the weapon from your hand. If you need both hands free (e.g., to unlock a door), you can simply let the baton hang from your wrist.
Structurally, this is a steel baton with a standard (non-hardened) black finish. The mechanism works on the Friction Lock principle. A flick opens it; a strike against the ground closes it. The package also includes a basic nylon holster that can be threaded onto a belt, so you always have the baton at hand.

How to Use and Maintain the Baton
To open, a sharp flick of the wrist is sufficient. To close, hold the baton with two fingers and strike the tip vertically against a hard surface. Since this is a non-hardened version, avoid testing its durability by striking bricks, trees, or steel pipes – the baton could bend. It is intended primarily for self-defense against living targets. If the baton gets wet, disassemble it, wipe it dry, and let it air out. Keep the foam handle clean, as it may wear over time due to sweat.
Important Warning: The use of a telescopic baton is governed by self-defense laws. Strikes to the head and neck can be lethal. This tool serves to protect your health, not for aggression. Always check your local laws regarding carrying telescopic batons.
