How to Use and Care for It
The advantage of the Kubotan is that you don't need years of martial arts training for its basic use. In a closed fist, it solidifies the hand and protects your knuckles during a strike. The point can be used to deliver strikes to an attacker's muscles or to pry fingers open to release a grip (pain compliance). If you carry it on your keys, the keys themselves can serve as a flailing accessory during a defensive maneuver.
Maintenance is minimal. Thanks to the titanium finish, it is very durable; simply wiping it with a damp cloth occasionally is sufficient. However, be careful not to drop it unnecessarily on concrete, as the tip could get damaged.
