This wooden sword is designed as a safer alternative to metal replicas and is intended solely as a costume accessory.
- Hilt (Tsuka): It is wrapped with a black-and-tan nylon cord in the traditional criss-cross pattern, ensuring not only an authentic look but also a firm grip.
- Guard (Tsuba): A simple, gold-coloured guard separates the hilt from the blade.
- Blade (Mi): The blade is made of hardwood and painted silver to imitate metal.
- Scabbard (Saya): The lightweight, natural-wood-coloured scabbard is decorated with the "SAMURAI KIDS" text and features a black-and-brown cord (sageo), which was used to attach the scabbard to the belt (obi).
