Features for Critical Situations

This knife was designed with rapid response in mind. The blade, made of 440A stainless steel, features a black coating to prevent glare and corrosion. The edge is partially serrated, a key feature for rescue knives—the serrated section cuts through synthetic materials like ropes, webbing, or clothing much more easily and aggressively.

The handle, made of light metal in signal red (making the knife easy to find even under stress or in the dark), houses two other life-saving tools:

• Seatbelt Cutter: An integrated hook in the rear of the handle is designed to safely slice through a seatbelt without the risk of injuring the trapped person.
• Glass Breaker: A carbide tip on the pommel allows you to shatter a car's side window with a single strike and escape.

Operation and Safety

You can open the knife instantly with one hand, using either the thumb stud or by pressing the flipper. Once open, the flipper acts as a finger guard, protecting your hand from slipping onto the edge. A Linerlock mechanism ensures the blade stays securely locked during use. For convenient carrying, the knife is equipped with a steel belt clip.

Maintenance

To keep the knife ready for action:

• Inspection: Regularly check that dust and lint haven't settled in the seatbelt cutter or the knife mechanism.
• Lubrication: Occasionally apply a drop of oil to the pivot for smooth opening action.
• Sharpening: Sharpen the plain part of the edge as usual; use a special tapered rod or professional service for the serrations.
