
The model for this belt dates back to the end of the 14th century. It is mainly used to tie up pigtails and various parts of clothing. The Gothic belt Morrow is mainly made of up to 3.5 mm thick dyed smooth cowhide. The wrought buckle and strap end are made as castings from composite material. The buckle as well as the strap end were modelled on a specimens from the period concerned. The belt's width is 2 cm.
