Design and Craftsmanship

The sword is designed to visually correspond to the weapons Geralt uses against human opponents and ordinary beasts. The 420 stainless steel blade has an impressive length of 89 cm (35 inches) and is finished with a typical angled crossguard, characteristic of the School of the Wolf. The hilt is shaped for both two-handed and one-handed grip and finished with a massive pommel. The wooden scabbard covered in synthetic leather is fitted with a metal chape and locket, adding to its authenticity and durability.

Usage and Safety

It is important to know that this sword is primarily a decorative replica. While the stainless steel blade is rust-resistant and easy to maintain, it is brittle and not tempered for impact.

• Intended Use: As a beautiful wall decoration, a costume accessory (cosplay) for photoshoots, or a prop for LARP (provided no combat is involved). Thanks to the back harness system, wearing it with a costume is very effective and comfortable.
• What to Avoid: Never fence with this sword, do not strike objects, and do not use it for contact combat (buhurt, HEMA). There is a risk of the blade breaking and causing injury to you or others.

Maintenance

Since the blade is made of 420 stainless steel, it is highly resistant to corrosion. Nevertheless, I recommend wiping the blade with a soft cloth after every touch to prevent fingerprints, which could form smudges over time. The faux leather parts of the scabbard can simply be wiped with a damp cloth.
