The kilt, the Scottish Highlanders' most famous garment, is a knee-length skirt (usually with checked pattern) worn exclusively by men. This kilt is an 8 yard kilt and thus swings nicely. One particularly noteworthy quality feature is the perfectly arranged pleating at the back. The front is double-layered, just like a wrap-around skirt, and fastened at the waistline with leather straps and buckles. The kilt is not hemmed but has a traditional kilting selvedge.
