Set of 3 Razor Blue Hunting Broadheads

When hitting the target is no longer enough and you need maximum impact efficiency, hunting broadheads come into play. This set of three, dominated by an elegant blue anodised body, conceals the power of modern engineering and the legacy of ancient hunters. Each head is fitted with three stainless steel blades that are razor-sharp. Weighing 115 grains (approx. 7.5 g), they provide an ideal compromise between speed and kinetic impact energy. They are designed for demanding archers who require uncompromising penetration and a wide cutting channel. Whether your goal is hunting (in countries where legal) or destructive shooting at special foam targets, these heads will turn your arrow into a tool of surgical precision. Remember, with great power comes great responsibility in handling. Further product information ...

Set of 3 Razor Blue Hunting Broadheads – 3-Blade Design, 115 gr

Usage and Installation

These points feature a standard thread, making them compatible with the vast majority of modern carbon and aluminium arrows equipped with an internal insert. Installation is simple – just unscrew your target point and screw this one in. The body of the point is equipped with a "retaining collar" which ensures a firm seat and alignment of the blades with the arrow axis.

IMPORTANT WARNING: The blades are extremely sharp (like razor blades). Always use protective gloves or a special broadhead wrench when assembling; never tighten them by holding the blades with your bare hand. There is a risk of serious cuts. Only transport arrows with these heads in a quiver with a cut-resistant bottom, or use protective point caps.

History: From Flint to Steel

The hunting broadhead is a direct descendant of leaf-shaped points made of flint, bronze, and later iron, which our ancestors used for hunting and warfare for millennia. The purpose of a broad head has always been to cause massive haemorrhaging to quickly bring down prey, unlike target points which merely part the tissue. While a medieval blacksmith had to sharpen the point on a stone, you have disposable stainless steel blades at your disposal, which hold their edge incomparably longer and do not succumb to corrosion.

Safety and Maintenance

To ensure safe usage:

  • Never shoot at people: This is not a prop. It is a lethal tool. The heads are absolutely unsuitable for any kind of contact combat, LARP, or historical re-enactment battles.
  • Target Selection: Do not shoot at ordinary straw targets – the heads will cut and destroy them, and will be very difficult to retrieve. Use special target butts designed for broadheads (reinforced foam).
  • Storage: Keep out of reach of children. Injury can occur even from a light touch.
  • Inspection: Before every shot, check that the blades are seated firmly and the head is tightened. Vibrations during transport can loosen the thread.

If you plan to use these broadheads, I recommend checking that your arrows are long enough so that the head does not touch the bow riser or your hand at full draw.
