Muela Kodiak Hunting Knife – Cocobolo Wood – MoVa Steel
Steel and Construction You Can Rely On
The foundation of the knife is a blade made of Molybdenum-Vanadium (MoVa) stainless steel, known for its excellent edge retention and ease of maintenance. The knife is built with a Full-Tang construction (the blade runs through the entire handle), giving it maximum strength and resistance to breakage even during demanding use. Between the blade and the handle, there is a polished metal bolster (Nickel Silver) that safely protects your fingers from slipping onto the edge while working.
Handle Made of Exotic Hardwood
The scales are made of hard and heavy Cocobolo wood, native to Central America. This wood is prized for its beautiful reddish-brown color with distinct grain and high content of natural oils, making it very resistant to moisture. The handle is shaped to fit the palm perfectly and is attached to the steel with rivets, with the rear hollow rivet serving for a lanyard attachment.
The knife comes with a high-quality brown cowhide sheath with an embossed deer logo, which securely holds the knife on your belt.

Knife Care
Although the knife is made of high-quality materials, it requires proper maintenance. Clean and dry the blade after every use – aggressive sweat or food juices could leave marks. We recommend occasionally treating the wooden handle with linseed oil or beeswax to prevent it from drying out and to maintain its luster. Never wash the knife in a dishwasher and do not sharpen it on electric grinders, which could overheat the steel.
Safety Warning
The knife is a sharp tool intended for cutting. Do not use it as a pry bar, screwdriver, or hammer, as this risks damaging the tip or the edge.
