Powerful Blade and Ergonomics
The blade is made of proven Molybdenum-Vanadium (MoVa) stainless steel. This steel is prized for its edge retention and toughness, allowing it to withstand the shocks of chopping. The knife features a Full-Tang construction, meaning the steel runs through the entire length of the handle. This is a key safety and durability feature for any chopping tool.
The handle is made of Pakkawood. This is a durable wood-resin composite that features a beautiful grain resembling exotic woods but is much more resistant to moisture and cracking. The scales are anatomically shaped with finger grooves, ensuring a firm and secure grip even during a swing.
The knife is supplied with a hand-stitched sheath made of high-quality brown leather, which protects the edge and you during transport.

Care and Maintenance
Although the steel is stainless, clean the knife of wood residue and sap and dry it after each use in the field. To maintain its properties long-term, we recommend occasionally treating the blade with oil (e.g., gun oil). The leather sheath benefits from beeswax impregnation to keep the leather supple and prevent cracking.
Safety Warning
This knife is designed for chopping. Always ensure that no person is standing in the path of the swing and that there are no obstacles the knife could deflect off. Due to the heavier weight and forward center of gravity, the tool has significant inertia, so handle it with care. The knife does not belong in the dishwasher.
