The bag has been modelled on a specimen dating back to the early Gothic period, i.e. the end of the 13th century. Due to its simple design this type of the bag was typical mainly for the poorer stratum of the population. The characteristic look of ground leather gives the bag the feel of the handicraft processing typical for the early period. The flap of the leather bag with antler is closed via a right antler that hangs on a leather string.
