A Versatile Leather Pouch for Medieval Costume

The pouch has a broad semicircular body, a rounded lower edge and an overlapping flap. Its leather panels are joined around the sides and bottom with visible cross-lacing. This construction reinforces the perimeter while giving the bag a convincingly handcrafted appearance. The flap is secured by a long central leather strap threaded through a brass buckle. This helps prevent the contents from falling out while walking, riding or moving across uneven ground. Remove dust and light dirt with a soft dry or slightly damp cloth. Should the pouch become wet, allow it to dry naturally at room temperature. Do not place it on a radiator, use a hairdryer or leave it in strong direct sunlight. Treat the leather occasionally with a thin layer of colourless conditioner intended for smooth leather. Test the product on a discreet area first, as some conditioners may slightly darken the surface.
