To ensure the sturdy leather retains its strength, rich colour, and suppleness, regular conditioning is essential. The product is treated with a high-quality beeswax leather balm during the manufacturing process. After each use, wipe away dust and dirt with a damp cloth and allow the shoes to dry naturally at room temperature. Follow up by rubbing leather balm or pure conditioning oil into the upper. Balm feeds the leather deeply, softens it, and provides excellent water resistance; please note that the material will darken slightly after application. To revive the colour and conceal minor scuffs on the exposed toe tip, tinted shoe polish with red pigments works beautifully.

The extremely wide flat toe extends noticeably beyond the standard anatomical outline of the human foot, requiring focused awareness when walking in narrow spaces, upstairs, or over uneven terrain to prevent tripping. Although the sole is made of rubber, exercise caution on wet smooth stones, paving, or damp grass. Never force-dry soaked shoes in the immediate vicinity of open flames, fireplaces, radiators, or in direct sunlight. Rapid and intense heat strips essential moisture, causing the leather to permanently shrink, stiffen, and crack.
