Excalibur ProFlight 16.5" Illuminated – Premium Carbon Arrows for Micro Series
What’s in the Box (3-Pack Set):
- 3x Excalibur ProFlight 16.5" Carbon Arrows
- 3x Integrated Beacon Nocks (Illuminated flat-back)
- Pre-fletched 2" Blazer Vanes with 3-degree offset
Technical Specifications & Precision
ProFlight arrows are designed to handle the intense energy output of modern recurve crossbows. The 2" Blazer vanes are fletched at a 3-degree offset to induce spin, which stabilises the arrow quickly and maintains accuracy even when using broadheads. The Beacon Nocks are dependable and bright, ensuring that your expensive carbon bolts don't get lost in the undergrowth after a pass-through shot.

Usage and Safety Guidelines
These arrows are optimized for the Excalibur Micro Series (including models like the Micro 340, 380, and Mag 340). Always perform a "flex test" before shooting: slightly bend the shaft and listen for any cracking sounds. If you hear anything, discard the arrow immediately. Never shoot a damaged arrow as it may shatter upon release. Ensure your crossbow's draw weight is compatible with a 16.5" bolt (typically Micro series). Avoid shooting into hard targets like wood or masonry, as this will destroy the carbon integrity.
Did you know? The white cresting on these arrows is a practical feature borrowed from traditional archery. It makes tracking the arrow’s rotation and flight path much easier for the human eye, which is especially useful when recording your shots on high-speed cameras.
Care and Maintenance
Keep your arrows clean and dry. After shooting, wipe the shafts with a damp cloth. Check the Beacon Nocks periodically to ensure they are functioning and turn them off when not in use to preserve battery life. If a vane becomes damaged, it can be replaced using standard archery fletching glue. Store your arrows in a quiver or a dedicated arrow box to prevent the vanes from taking a "set" or becoming warped.
Recommended Accessories
To get started, you will need screw-in field points (100gr or 125gr recommended) as these arrows are sold without tips. A high-quality crossbow-rated target is essential to stop these high-speed bolts safely. I also highly recommend an arrow puller; the extra grip makes retrieving these slim carbon shafts from deep targets much easier and safer for your hands.
