Royal Crown Henry – Majestic Medieval Coronet with Leather Padding
The crown is handcrafted from 1.5mm (16 gauge) thick sheet metal, providing excellent durability and a substantial feel. You can choose between the sleek resilience of stainless steel or the warm, prestigious glow of brass. To ensure a perfect fit, please measure your head circumference at forehead level. If you plan to wear a padded arming cap or a chainmail coif underneath, measure with these items on. The inner circumference of the crown is intentionally approximately 3cm (1.2") larger than the head size to accommodate the padding and ensure a royal fit.

Historical Context
This design is inspired by the high medieval period, where monarchs such as King Henry V were famously known to wear a crown over their combat helmets during battle. This practice served both as a display of immense bravery and as a vital tactical marker for their soldiers amidst the chaos of war. This replica captures that blend of military function and regal splendour, making it a favourite for serious history enthusiasts.
Maintenance and Safety
To keep your crown looking like new, wipe it down with a dry, soft cloth after each use to remove sweat and oils. For the brass version, an occasional polish with a metal cleaner will maintain its lustre. Please note: this is not protective armour suitable for full-contact combat sports like HEMA or Buhurt. It is intended for costume and ceremonial use. Never attempt to force-bend the crown, as this could damage the rivets or the internal lining. To complete your regal ensemble, we recommend pairing this crown with a heavy woollen cloak or a noble's belt from our collection.
