Detailed Description and Usage
This weapon is designed specifically for LARP (Live Action Role Play) and cosplay. It is a high-quality foam replica of a Japanese dagger. The core consists of a sturdy fibreglass rod ensuring stability, while the soft polyurethane foam protects your opponents from injury.
The highlight of this tanto is the handle (tsuka). Unlike many other replicas, it features a real fabric wrap (tsukamaki) in black. This ensures not only a historically accurate look but, more importantly, a firm grip that won't slip even in a sweaty palm. The guard (tsuba) and pommel (kashira) have an antique gold finish and are decorated with fine oriental reliefs. The blade is painted silver and features a fuller (hi), giving it a realistic metallic appearance.
