This material choice allows for a level of intricacy in the engravings that traditional steel forging could hardly match at this scale. The blade features a realistic steel finish adorned with raised golden vine motifs flowing elegantly along the curve. The shaft is made of genuine wood, providing a solid and authentic feel.

Lore: The Snow Point

In Sindarin, Aeglos translates to "Snow Point" or "Icicle," a name feared by the servants of Sauron. It was said that against Aeglos, no enemy could stand. The blade bears a runic inscription that translates to: "Gil-galad wields a well-made spear, The Orc will fear my point of ice, When he sees me, in fear of death, He will know my name: Aeglos." Though Gil-galad fell on the slopes of Orodruin, his spear helped break the power of Mordor for an age.

Display and Assembly

Due to its massive size (approx. 2.59 m), the wooden shaft comes in two sections that assemble securely. The replica includes a cold cast wall display plaque featuring the heraldry of Gil-galad (the Star of the House of Finwë) and mounting hardware, allowing you to display the spear horizontally.
