Replacement Limb Set (4pcs) for Man Kung BLAST MK-XB68BK Crossbow
The 220 LBS Heart of Your Crossbow
This set contains four identical split limbs, which are the fundamental building blocks for generating the immense power of your crossbow.
- Material: Each limb is precision-made from layered fibreglass, known for its extreme strength and flexibility.
- Draw Weight: The set is engineered for the staggering 220-pound (LBS) draw weight that gives the Blast model its devastating power.
- Finish: The limbs have a durable, matte black finish that minimizes reflections and complements the crossbow's tactical look.
- Construction: The wider end of the limb features a hole for the cam axle, while the narrower end is shaped for a firm and secure seating in the riser's limb pocket.
Exclusively for the Man Kung BLAST
This replacement limb set (manufacturer's part number MK-XB68BK-LIMB) is designed exclusively for the compound crossbow:
- Man Kung MK-XB68BK Blast
Due to its specific dimensions and power characteristics, this set is not compatible with any other model.
INSTALLATION – FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICE CENTRES ONLY!
WARNING: DO NOT ATTEMPT TO REPLACE THE LIMBS YOURSELF! THIS IS AN EXTREMELY DANGEROUS PROCEDURE THAT CAN LEAD TO SERIOUS INJURY!
Replacing the limbs is the most complex and dangerous service operation on a crossbow. It requires a complete disassembly of the entire bow assembly, including cams, axles, and the string system. A professional bow press is absolutely necessary for this task. Any attempt at disassembly without this tool will lead to an uncontrolled release of energy, destruction of parts, and a high probability of serious injury from shattering fibreglass. This repair must be entrusted EXCLUSIVELY to an authorised service centre or a qualified bow technician.
Limb Safety and Inspection
Regular inspection is the foundation of safety. What should you look for?
- Before Every Shot: Carefully inspect all four limbs along their entire length, on both sides and on the edges. Look for any signs of cracks, splinters, or delamination (layers separating).
- Cotton Ball Test: Run a cotton ball along the limb edges. If it snags anywhere, it could indicate a dangerous splinter that may be a precursor to failure.
- Take No Risks: Never shoot a crossbow with even slightly damaged limbs!
- Prevention: The best way to protect your limbs is to never dry-fire the crossbow (shoot without a bolt).
