The robust central boss and the shield rim with rivets have a dark metallic look, underlining its authentic Norse character. Even without specific patterns on the shield face, its very name and classic Viking shape evoke the mysterious power and unsurpassed bravery of the Valkyries. It is inspired by Norse art and culture in its functional simplicity and resilience.

Material and Construction for LARP

The shield is crafted from durable and safe Polyurethane (PUR) foam, which is lightweight yet sturdy enough for the demands of LARP combat. Weighing only approx. 900 g, this 50cm shield is easy to handle and allows for quick reactions in both defence and attack. The depth or curvature of the shield, approx. 9 cm, helps in deflecting blows.
