Material and Construction for LARP

The shield is crafted from durable and safe Polyurethane (PUR) foam. This material is proven for LARP – it's firm enough to absorb the impacts of padded LARP weapons, while having a reasonable weight (approx. 1500 g for this 70 cm size) for good handling. The detailed wood texture and metal imitation are moulded directly into the form. The depth or curvature of the shield is approx. 9 cm, which aids in deflecting blows more effectively.

To maintain the flexibility of the base material, apply a thin layer of silicone oil or spray, especially to the edges and the back. If you paint the shield, be careful using oil on the paintwork (depending on the type of paint used, some may be resistant).
2. Store Correctly: Keep the shield in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
3. Avoid Deformation: Do not store the shield under heavy objects.

• Use Only with LARP Weapons: This shield is designed and tested exclusively for use with padded LARP weapons (e.g., latex weapons, foam weapons).
• !!! IMPORTANT WARNING !!!: Never use this shield against wooden, metal, rattan, or other hard or sharp weapons. Doing so could damage the shield's surface (cuts, tears in the foam) and, most importantly, it is unsafe!
