Historical Weave and Modern Durability
The defining feature of this cloak is the woven diamond pattern (not printed), which catches the light and adds historical depth to your costume. We have crafted this garment from a blend of 80% wool and 20% nylon. This specific blend ensures you get the thermal insulation and water-resistant properties of wool—keeping you warm even when damp—while the nylon reinforcement adds strength, preventing the fabric from stretching or wearing out prematurely. With a fabric weight of 320 gsm, it is heavy enough to drape beautifully but light enough for active movement.
Versatile Design
True to history, this cloak is a large rectangle without a tailored hood or permanent fixings. This allows you to adapt it to your needs:
- Traditional Style: Pin it with a fibula or brooch on your right shoulder to keep your sword arm free.
- Full Coverage: Wrap it around your body for maximum warmth around the campfire.

Care Instructions
Wool is naturally self-cleaning and often just needs airing out. If washing is required to maintain the fabric's quality:

- Steaming on low heat can help remove creases.
