Usage and Weapon Placement

Each of the two supplied stands consists of a solid L-profile base on which two vertical supports are mounted. These supports feature asymmetrical cutouts across three stacked tiers. The knives are inserted horizontally, with the blade securely resting on one side and the handle on the other. This tiered (cascading) design ensures that the weapons do not cast shadows on each other and all three pieces are perfectly visible. The stand is ideal for folding pocket knives and compact fixed-blade models. We strongly advise that the knife shown in the photographs is for illustration purposes only and is not included in the delivery.

The custom of proudly displaying edged weapons has deep historical roots. In medieval and Renaissance residences, the nobility built enormous armouries where weapons were meticulously organised on massive wooden and iron racks to demonstrate the family's power and wealth. Today, in the era of modern collecting, we prefer an airy and minimalist approach. Acrylic glass revolutionises display methods – the weapon seemingly floats in space, and the observer's eye is not distracted by the bulky construction of the holder itself.

Caring for Acrylic Glass

To ensure the plexiglass retains its flawless clarity and representative appearance, gentle maintenance is required. Acrylic glass is very strong, but it is susceptible to surface micro-scratches. Use exclusively a clean and very soft microfibre cloth for removing dust and fingerprints. Absolutely avoid using paper towels, rough sponges, or chemical cleaning agents based on alcohol or aggressive solvents. These could irreversibly cloud the plastic or damage the promotional print on the back wall.

Safe Display Guidelines

Presenting sharp knives indoors naturally requires a responsible approach. Always place the stands on a firm, completely stable, and level surface to prevent them from being knocked over by draughts or vibrations. It is absolutely critical to position your display strictly out of the reach of small children and pets. A sharpened knife falling from a height presents a serious safety hazard and could also result in the edge chipping.
