An Elegant Display for a Single Pistol

The rack comprises a long, moulded base and two upright supports. The taller cradle is primarily intended to support the forward section of the pistol, whilst the shorter support carries the rear section or stock. Both uprights feature rounded U-shaped notches in which the displayed item rests. Their different heights present the pistol at a slight angle, helping its lock, fittings, stock profile and decorative details stand out.

The broad base distributes the weight of the display and provides stability on a desk, shelf, mantelpiece or inside a cabinet. Its restrained appearance makes it suitable for flintlock pistols, percussion pistols, decorative pirate guns and other collectables of compatible dimensions.

Assembly and Correct Use

• Place the base on a flat, clean working surface.
• Align the taller and shorter uprights with the pre-drilled holes in the base.
• Secure both supports with the supplied screws and Allen key.
• Tighten the screws evenly, taking care not to overtighten them and damage the timber.
• Before use, check that the pistol rests securely in both cradles without making the stand unstable.
• Thin felt or leather pads may be added to protect particularly delicate finishes.

Care and Safety

Dust the stand regularly with a soft, dry cloth. For spot cleaning, use a slightly damp cloth and dry the timber immediately. Avoid prolonged exposure to moisture, strong heat or direct sunlight, as these may alter the colour or cause the wood to warp. A suitable furniture oil or solid wood conditioner may be applied occasionally; test it on an inconspicuous area first.

This product is intended for display and is not an approved firearm safe or secure storage cabinet. A real firearm must only be displayed when completely unloaded, with no ammunition in the chamber or magazine, and in accordance with all applicable legislation. Keep it beyond the reach of children and unauthorised persons. Never carry the stand with a pistol resting upon it, and do not use it for an object that cannot sit securely in both cradles.
