After every use, especially if you have been cutting acidic fruit or navigating humid environments, carefully clean the blade, wipe it completely dry, and lightly treat it with a drop of gun oil. The G10 handle, on the other hand, is completely maintenance-free; simply wash it with soapy water if it gets dirty.
