A Design Born in the World of Modern Fantasy
Although this sword does not have a direct historical prototype, its design cleverly borrows elements from various eras and styles. The way the handle is wrapped with a strong black nylon tape clearly references traditional Japanese katanas, guaranteeing you a very firm and secure grip. The blade itself is pure fantasy—it features aggressive arrow-shaped cutouts and flows smoothly into an ominously shaped crossguard reminiscent of bat wings. Another unconventional detail is the open ring pommel at the end of the handle. This piece is ideal for creating your own original characters from the realms of post-apocalyptic sci-fi, dark fantasy, or anime.
Safety Warnings and Blade Care
For safety reasons, I must strongly emphasize that this sword is strictly a decorative item. The blade is made of 420 stainless steel and is by no means designed for practical use. The weapon is absolutely unsuitable for historical contact fencing (HEMA, SCA), combat training, cutting practice, boffer fighting, or any man-to-man combat. The steel blade may be sharp, so exercise extreme caution during handling to avoid injuring yourself or bystanders. This weapon does not belong in the hands of children! To maintain its flawless appearance, I recommend lightly wiping the blade with a soft cloth and a drop of quality gun preservation oil after every handling to prevent dirt and fingerprints from settling on the coloured surface finish.
