The front is dominated by a detailed relief of the elephant-headed god Ganesha with an ornate headdress and tusks. The back of the mug hides another important symbol – a small mouse (rat) sitting on a lotus flower and holding an offering. A unique feature is the handle, shaped like a massive elephant trunk decorated with traditional ornaments. Mythological Insight: The Elephant and the Mouse

Ganesha is the son of Shiva and Parvati and is known as the Lord of Beginnings and the Remover of Obstacles. His elephant head symbolizes wisdom and the ability to listen. The inconspicuous mouse on the back of the tankard is his vahana (mount) named Mushika. It represents the ego, desires, and the wavering mind, which Ganesha tames and controls with his weight. Care Instructions

To ensure this divine artifact lasts as long as possible, please treat it with care:

• Washing: The internal stainless steel insert is firmly glued. Wash the tankard exclusively by hand with lukewarm water and mild detergent. Wipe the outer decorated polyresin part only with a damp cloth to avoid damaging the hand painting.
• No Dishwasher: Never put the tankard in the dishwasher! Aggressive chemicals and high temperatures would destroy the finish.
• Microwave: Due to the metal insert, the tankard does not belong in a microwave oven.
