Historic-Inspired Appearance, Modern Construction
The mug features a gently rounded body, a pronounced rolled rim and a hammered surface texture extending across its exterior. The outside has a characteristic copper colour, while the stainless-steel inner surface remains clearly visible. A separate brass handle with a distinctive angular profile completes the design.
This mug is not a reproduction of a particular archaeological find or an exact replica of a medieval drinking vessel. Copper is nevertheless one of the metals humans have worked since very early periods of history, and metal drinking and serving vessels were already known in antiquity. Its rustic character therefore makes this model particularly suitable as an atmospheric drinking vessel for LARP, fantasy events, historical fairs and camps where strict archaeological authenticity is not required.
For Beer, Mead and Moscow Mule
Before first use, wash the mug by hand with a mild washing-up liquid, rinse it thoroughly and dry it. It can then be used for cold drinks such as beer, mead, water, lemonade or iced tea. Its capacity of approximately 530 ml / 17.9 fl oz also leaves plenty of room for a drink served with ice.
Copper mugs became particularly famous during the 20th century through the Moscow Mule, a cocktail which became established in the United States during the 1940s. Serving the drink in its distinctive copper mug gradually became part of its identity and remains common in bars today. In this model, the drink itself is in contact with the stainless-steel interior.

Care and Safe Use
Hand wash only using warm water and a mild washing-up liquid. Clean the mug with a soft sponge or cloth and dry it thoroughly afterwards. Do not place it in a dishwasher, and avoid scouring pads, abrasive powders or aggressive chemical cleaners that could damage the copper-coloured surface. Copper may naturally darken and develop a patina over time. If you prefer a brighter appearance, use a gentle care product intended for copper surfaces.
This mug is intended for cold drinks only. Do not fill it with boiling or very hot liquids, as metal conducts heat efficiently and a heated rim or outer surface could cause burns. Never put the metal mug in a microwave oven or place it directly on a fire, hob or other heat source.
Because of the nature of the surface finish, the precise shade and texture may vary slightly from one piece to another.
Recommended Accessories
For a historic-inspired camp setting, combine the mug with a wooden bowl, spoon, jug or tableware inspired by the 10th–15th centuries. Rustic serving boards and leather or textile table accessories also work well for fantasy and LARP environments. For modern use, pair it with a cocktail measure, bar spoon and other equipment for preparing chilled mixed drinks.
