Man Kung MK-CB55SB Compound Bow Silver/Black 55 LBS
Are you looking for a partner to take you from recreational shooting to the next level? The Man Kung MK-CB55SB Compound Bow in a sleek silver and black finish is exactly that choice. With a draw weight of 55 LBS and an impressive arrow velocity of 206 FPS (over 60 m/s), this is no longer a toy, but a serious piece of kit. Thanks to its 70% let-off design, you can hold the bow at full draw without unnecessary shaking, allowing you to focus calmly on your target. It is an ideal machine for archers aged 16 and up who want to feel the power of modern archery at a great price. This model is the successor to the popular CB30 series but brings much more aggressive performance. How to Use the Bow Correctly and What to Watch Out For
This bow is designed for right-handed archers (hold the bow with your left hand, pull the string with your right). Before your first shot, check that the cams are clean and the string shows no signs of fraying. Never dry fire the bow! Firing without an arrow can cause immediate limb failure or cam damage, which can also be dangerous for you.
Maintenance for Long Service Life
To ensure your bow serves you for years, regularly apply string wax to the string. This reduces friction and prevents moisture from penetrating the fibres. Occasionally check the limb bolts to ensure they are tight, but never attempt to disassemble the bow without a dedicated bow press. Store it in a dry environment away from direct heat sources.
Recommended Arrows and Accessories
For this 55 LBS model, I exclusively recommend 30-inch arrows. The ideal choice is carbon arrows (7.5 mm diameter), which are light and fast, or aluminium arrows (8 mm diameter), which better withstand impacts into tougher targets. The tip should weigh at least 100 grains for optimal ballistics. To make your experience complete, consider adding a bow sight (3/16 UNC thread), a stabiliser for a steadier shot, and definitely a release aid. Shooting a 55 LBS bow with your fingers isn't ideal; a release aid will provide a much cleaner and more accurate shot.
