Assembling the weapon is straightforward – the fibreglass prod (limbs) is attached to the main body using the supplied bolts, followed by the installation of the foot stirrup and sight. When cocking, always use the included cocking rope. Not only does it ensure an even pull on the string (which is crucial for accuracy), but it also halves the perceived draw weight from 175 lbs to roughly 88 lbs. Once cocked, the safety mechanism is engaged automatically. Load the arrow making sure the index fletching (odd-coloured feather) slots perfectly into the flight groove.
