Installation Instructions
The installation of this knocker is designed for maximum strength and security using a bolt-through mounting method.
- The knocker consists of two parts: the lion head with the ring, and the separate striker plate. Both have threaded holes on the back.
- Position both parts on your door and mark the locations for drilling.
- At the marked spots, drill holes completely through the door.
- The package includes threaded rods (headless bolts). You will need to cut them to the correct length: the thickness of your door plus a little extra for the nut.
- Screw one end of the cut rods into the threaded holes on the back of the knocker and the striker plate.
- Push the rods through the drilled holes in the door.
- From the inside of the door, securely fasten the knocker by tightening the included nuts onto the rods.
