Leather Care and Safety Guidelines

To ensure your leather scabbard lasts a long time and does not lose its strength and shape, we recommend treating it regularly with a high-quality leather balm containing beeswax. This protects the leather from moisture and drying out. Never dry soaked leather near a direct heat source (radiator, fireplace), as it could harden and irreversibly crack. From a safety perspective, exercise extreme caution if you place a dagger with a sharply honed blade into the scabbard. Since the sheath does not have a hard wooden core, carelessly sheathing the blade at the wrong angle carries the risk of cutting through the leather wall and causing potential injury.
