• 036 - for forged finish (e,g, forged halberds)
• 060 - for brushed finish (e.g. axes)
• 120 – for smooth, but not polished finish (e.g. sword blades)
• 240 – for polished finish (e.g. polished sword blades)

Its measurements are approx. 8 x 5 x 2cm and one gum weighs approx. 150 g

The different grain sizes are designated by numbers which the number of stitches to 1 inch length specify (25.4mm) of the sieve used. For example, an abrasive with the grain size 120 passes just a sieve with 120 meshes per inch of length. A higher grit number indicates a smaller abrasive grain and a finer abrasive product.
