The dominant feature of the shield is the brass relief of three lions (heraldically known as "lions passant guardant"). Richard I the Lionheart was the first English king to permanently adopt this coat of arms featuring three lions. It became the enduring symbol of the English monarchy and the House of Plantagenet. Care Instructions
Maintenance is very easy thanks to the high-quality stainless steel. Regularly dust the shield with a soft duster. To achieve a perfect shine and remove fingerprints, use a soft microfiber cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or steel wool, as these could scratch the surface or damage the detailed embossing of the lions.
