Important Safety Information and Maintenance

The sword features a sharp blade with an edge thickness of approximately 1 mm (0.04 inches). For safety reasons and due to the nature of its construction, this is a decorative item and a stunning collector's artefact. The weapon is under no circumstances intended for contact fencing, historical battles (HEMA, buhurt), or person-to-person duelling. Careless handling carries a risk of serious injury. Use it exclusively as a display piece, a costume accessory, or for non-contact form practice, always at your own risk.

The blade is forged from 1060 carbon steel, meaning it is susceptible to rust. To preserve its beauty, regular maintenance is essential. After every touch with bare hands or after drawing it from the scabbard, wipe the blade with a dry cloth and apply a thin layer of high-quality gun oil or conservation oil. The faux leather scabbard simply requires an occasional wipe with a damp cloth.
