These iron mittens clamshell-shaped cuffs are made of articulate plates connected by loose riveted joints. Due to the thickness of the material used (1.6mm) they are strong enough for occasional fights. These mittens come including inner leather gloves made of firm split leather for good hand protection and shock absorption. The thumb of the leather gloves is sewn at the end to the iron thumb flap of the mittens. The rest of the glove just slips under the leather straps riveted to the inside of the mittens. The advantage of this loose fastening is that you can easily find the most suitable position of your hand in the mitten according to your individual hand size.
