A Fusion of History and Modern Technology
The design of this machete is based on the highly popular Warrior sword series. The creators were inspired by the shape of traditional Japanese Tanto daggers, which samurai carried as a sidearm to the katana. The historical Tanto was designed for close-quarters combat and armor piercing. This modern version takes the best from history – especially the iconic blade shape with a massive tip (often called the "American Tanto"), which is extremely durable and has excellent penetration capabilities.
Unlike historical originals that require careful and delicate maintenance, this machete is a workhorse. The polypropylene handle faithfully mimics the traditional wrap (tsukamaki) and the underlying ray skin (same), but is produced using high-pressure injection molding. As a result, the handle won't unravel, doesn't absorb moisture, won't rot, and requires almost no maintenance, all while providing a secure grip even when wearing gloves or in wet conditions.

Usage and Care Instructions
This machete is designed primarily for outdoor activities. It excels at clearing paths through dense undergrowth, limbing small trees, or preparing kindling for a fire. Thanks to the tempered 1055 steel, the blade is springy and resistant to breaking upon impact.
- Blade Maintenance: The blade is made of carbon steel, which is susceptible to rust. Although protected by a black baked-on finish, the edge (bevel) is bare metal. Clean and dry the machete after every use and treat the blade with oil (e.g., gun oil or WD-40).
- Sharpening: 1055 steel is very easy to sharpen. To maintain a keen edge in the field, a standard sharpening stone or diamond rod will suffice.
- What not to do: Do not use the machete as a pry bar. Do not chop into rocks, nails, or masonry – this will ruin the edge.
