Easy and Secure Installation
On the back of the mount are three integrated pins (rivets) that ensure a firm and reliable attachment to leather or other materials. You can complete the installation in a few simple steps:
- Place the mount in the desired position and mark the locations of the three pins.
- Use a hole punch or an awl to create appropriately sized holes in the leather.
- Push the mount's pins through the holes in the leather.
- On the back, place a metal washer (not included) over each pin.
- Using a ball-peen hammer (or a centre punch and a regular hammer), carefully peen the ends of the pins over the washers. Proceed with care to avoid damaging the mount or the material.
