Women's Baroque Hats

In the Baroque period, it was fashionable to wear a wig. Higher society relied heavily on perfect wigs. Wigs were powdered, and sometimes a three-horned hat was worn. However, most of the time it was worn under the armpits so as not to damage the wig. The tricorn hat was adorned with feathers, embroidery, lace, and a veil here and there. Another type of Baroque hat was a hat decorated with lace and ribbons.
