Weapons and Other Collectibles from Lord of the Rings. Do You Know Sting and Glamdring?
What is the story behind the famous weapons and other artifacts from The Lord of the Rings? Do you remember how Aragorn got his sword or what magical ability Bilbo’s weapon had? Every fan of this popular series must know these!

Sauron's Deadly Mace

As Sauron's forces fought the Last Alliance of Elves on the slopes of Mount Doom, the Dark Lord himself appeared on the battlefield in full black armour. In one iron gauntlet he held a massive six-bladed, black iron mace. With every swing of his war mace, Sauron crushed his foes, sending intimidation and fear throughout the ranks of all who would dare to oppose him.

The replica of Sauron's mace is crafted of reinforced fiberglass-resin with an aged iron finish. Its surface with corroded metal colouring will make every replica collector excited.

The History of Elendil's Sword

Andúril is probably the most famous weapon in the entire Lord of the Rings saga. Originally known as Narsil, it was wielded by King Elendil in a battle against Sauron. However, the king was slain and the blade of the sword was shattered. Elendil's son Isildur picked up the shard of his father's sword and cut the One Ring from Sauron's hand, defeating him.

Many years later, at the end of the Third Age, the powerful sword was once again forged by the elves in Rivendell, and Aragorn became its owner. He named the sword Andúril, the Flame of the West, and carried the magnificent weapon into the last battle against the orcs.

The sword has rune engravings that translate as "I am Andúril who was once Narsil, sword of Elendil. The slaves of Mordor shall flee from me."

The blade of the replica is made of hardened stainless steel, the guard and pommel of solid metal with a silver-plated patina finish and 24k gold leaf.

The Crown of King Elessar Telcontar

In the third part of The Lord of the Rings, Aragorn is crowned as King Elessar Telcontar. The name Elessar (Elfstone) refers to the jewel with healing powers given to him by Galadriel before he left Lórien.

The coronation took place upon the Pelennor Fields outside the first wall of Minas Tirith. A huge expanse of tents and campsites was set up around the Great Gate of Minas Tirith as many soldiers, nobles and common folk attended the coronation event.

The ceremony began with the ringing of a trumpet, followed by silence. Aragorn stepped up before Gandalf, who placed the crown on his head. Soon after his coronation, he married the love of his life, Arwen.

The Crown of Elessar will take your breath away! It is a wonderful piece of art, cast from metal, with 24K gold and silver on the surface.

Glamdring - The Sword of Gandalf

The word Glamdring comes from the Elvish language Sindarin and translates as "foe-hammer". Gandalf found the sword in a troll cave in Rhûdaur, after the trolls turned into stone because of exposure to sunlight. Elrond translated the runes on the sword and found out that the blade was originally owned by Turgon, the King of Gondolin. The sword Glamdring remained at Gandalf's side until his last days in Middle-earth.

In our store, you will find this authentic collector's item as an officially licensed replica of a movie prop. United Cutlery, an industry leader in the movie reproductions, has meticulously recreated the original sword. It has a 121 cm blade made of hardened stainless steel. The pommel is made of solid metal and the handle is covered in leather.

The Orc-Detecting Sword of Bilbo Baggins

Glamdring was not the only elven blade found in the troll cave - Gandalf found two swords in it. However, the other one was so small that it looked more like a dagger, and the wizard gifted the short sword to Bilbo Baggins, who named it Sting. Its appearance suggests that it was forged by the elves during the First Age. The Sting has a special ability - the blade glowed blue when the Orcs were close.

The replica of the weapon with 39 cm long blade is made of stainless steel, the guard and pommel are made of metal. In addition, the blade, hilt and guard of the sword have a detailed decoration.
