Using the sturdy steel clip, you can easily hook it onto the edge of your trouser pocket. The strong wrist lanyard prevents the weapon from being snatched from your hand during an altercation. The package also includes a custom-stitched black leather pouch with a belt loop, allowing you to easily position the baton directly on your belt. For safety reasons, always remember that this is a weapon. In self-defence, aim primarily at the large muscle groups of the limbs (thighs, arms). Strikes to the head, neck, or spine can cause fatal injuries and are completely unacceptable in standard self-defence scenarios. Proper Maintenance of the Friction Lock

This type of baton utilises a Friction Lock system (secured by the friction of tapered tubes). To ensure the tool serves you reliably, keep it dry and completely clean. If it gets wet in the rain, fully extend it and allow it to dry thoroughly. Occasionally wipe the metal tubes with a dry cloth, but never lubricate the internal mechanism with oil or grease – the tubes would fail to lock together during a swing, and the baton would collapse on its own. To close it, simply strike the tip vertically downward onto a hard, perfectly flat surface (such as a concrete floor).
