Italian Automatic Stiletto Knife Horn Classic with Buffalo Handle

The 80 mm (approx. 3.15 inches) blade has a classic thrusting shape (stiletto) and is made of AISI 420 stainless steel. This steel is ideal for this type of knife – it resists corrosion excellently and is very easy to sharpen to a wicked edge. Although it is not a "super-steel" for chopping wood, it is perfectly sufficient for ordinary handling, opening letters, or light cutting tasks.
However, the dominant feature of the knife is its handle. Buffalo horn is a traditional material that humanity has used for thousands of years. It is warm to the touch, provides grip, and has a beautiful, deep texture. The handle is finished with stainless steel bolsters, which not only strengthen the construction but, on this type of knife, often serve to unlock the blade for closing (swivel bolster).
