Before every shooting session, visually inspect the bands to ensure they are not brittle or torn at the attachment points.

• Never aim at people or animals.
• Always use suitable safety goggles – a snapped band or a ricocheting projectile can damage your eyesight.

• Beware of ricochets from hard objects (rocks, walls).
• Never "dry fire" (shoot without ammo); this destroys the bands and shortens the life of the slingshot.
