Safety Guidelines and Proper Maintenance

To ensure this beautiful piece lasts for decades looking as good as new, a few rules must be observed. Although the surface is treated with blacksmith's black, it is made of high-carbon mild steel, which is prone to rust. Never wash the candelabra with water or a damp cloth. Remove dust solely with a dry duster or a soft brush. Carefully peel off any wax drips from the pans using a wooden stick or plastic scraper to avoid damaging the protective lacquer. Do not use any aggressive chemicals or abrasive cleaners.

Exercise utmost caution during use. The spikes for mounting the candles are very sharp; there is a risk of hand injury if handled carelessly. Never leave a lit candelabra unattended, and place it well out of reach of children, pets, and flammable materials.
