The bow body is made of highly durable fiberglass. This modern material has a huge advantage over wood – it is virtually maintenance-free, unaffected by humidity or temperature changes, and can withstand the rougher handling that can be expected from children. The bow has a draw weight of 15 lbs (approx. 6.8 kg). This is an ideal value for beginners aged roughly 8 to 13 (depending on physical maturity). It is strong enough for the arrow to reach the target and stick in, but soft enough for a child to draw it safely without straining their muscles.
The set is very comprehensive. In addition to the bow itself, it contains a quiver for arrows, an armguard (so the string doesn't slap the arm), a finger tab, and a paper target face. Also included are two fiberglass arrows with safety tips. The bow has a universal shape, so it can be used by both right-handers and left-handers.

Safety and Bow Care
Although this is a children's set, it is still a weapon. Never let children shoot without adult supervision! Strictly ensure that the bow is never aimed at people or animals, even in jest.
For the longevity of the bow, one golden rule applies: Never dry fire (shoot without an arrow nocked)! The energy of the shot has nowhere to go and can cause immediate breakage of the bow limbs or snapping of the string, which can be dangerous. Keep the string waxed with beeswax or special string wax. If you are not using the bow for a long time, it is advisable to unstring it.
I recommend buying extra arrows with this set, as two can easily get lost in the grass during the heat of the game, and ideally a straw target boss that will safely catch the arrows.
