"Torpedo" Steel Throwing Spikes – 3-Piece Set
Construction and Material
The spikes are made of carbon steel, known for its hardness. The surface is blackened, protecting the steel against corrosion and giving the spikes a tactical look. The shape is simple and torpedo-like with sharp tips, ensuring excellent penetration. Each spike weighs a solid 45 grams, providing enough momentum for a stable flight. The package includes a black nylon sheath with separate slots, which you can easily attach to your belt or gear.
Important Warning: Target Selection
To ensure the longevity of your spikes, the choice of target is crucial:
- Suitable targets: Soft foam targets, cardboard, straw bales, or soft wood (pine, spruce).
- Unsuitable targets: Hard wood, tree trunks (risk of hitting knots), plywood, or wood containing nails.
Impact with a hard obstacle can break the hardened steel or dull the tip. Mechanical damage caused by throwing at unsuitable targets is not covered by the warranty.
