This knife is laser-cut and ground from a single piece of high-quality stainless steel. Its main asset is its substantial weight. Heavier knives possess greater kinetic energy in flight and rotate more slowly, giving you more time to control the throw and time the impact correctly. The knife features a double-edged blade, increasing the chance of sticking even with imperfect rotation. The handle is smooth for a seamless release from the palm (the "slide") but is finished with a lanyard hole.

To ensure the knife lasts a long time and remains safe to use:

• Target Selection: Never throw at live trees! Not only is it harmful to nature, but hard wood and knots can cause the knife to bounce back at you dangerously or break the tip. Use targets made exclusively of soft wood (poplar, spruce)—ideally end grain—or special foam targets.
• Edge Care: During practice, knives often collide (creating a "clinking" sound). This causes sharp burrs on the edges. File these burrs down regularly; otherwise, you risk nasty cuts on your hand during the next throw.
• Cleaning: Although the knife is stainless, wipe it dry and remove dirt after use.
