A Bit of History
Although flat alcohol bottles have existed for centuries, their golden age began, as you might guess, during the American Prohibition era (starting in 1920). Care and Maintenance

- Suitable Drinks: The flask is designed exclusively for pure spirits (whiskey, brandy, vodka, rum, gin).
- What Not to Use: Never fill it with carbonated drinks, fruit juices, acidic liquids, cream-based liqueurs, or wine. The acids and sugars in these drinks could damage the stainless steel interior or spoil.
- Storage: Do not leave alcohol in the flask for more than 3 days. After that, it may acquire a metallic taste.
- Cleaning: Rinse thoroughly with warm water before first use and after every emptying. Do not use detergents that could leave an aftertaste, and definitely do not put it in the dishwasher. Let it dry open and upside down.
