Construction and Compatibility
The limb is designed to withstand repeated cocking and firing. Its center profile has a width of 12 mm and a thickness of 4.5 mm, while being reinforced at the mounting point with a pad to a total thickness of approx. 9 mm. This construction ensures the stability of the limb within the crossbow body. With a length of 45 cm (approx. 17.7 inches), it is ideal for most standard pistol crossbows with an 80 lbs draw weight, such as the popular Kobra or Power models.
Installation and Maintenance Advice
When replacing the limb, ensure it is seated correctly in the crossbow body and the mounting screw is tightened firmly (always use a rubber or plastic washer to prevent damage to the fiberglass from metal pressure). Never dry fire the crossbow (without a bolt)! The shot energy would have nowhere to transfer and could instantly destroy even this new limb. To extend its lifespan, we recommend regularly waxing the string.
