This knife was designed to withstand the rigours of the wilderness while maintaining a presentable appearance. The Drop Point blade is made of 420 stainless steel. This steel is popular among users for its high corrosion resistance and ease of sharpening even in field conditions. The knife features a Full Tang construction, meaning the blade steel runs through the entire length of the handle. This is the strongest possible method of knife manufacturing, eliminating the risk of breakage at the handle junction.

The scales are made of noble burl wood (root wood), known for its hardness and unique grain patterns. The wood is attached to the steel with brass rivets, and the handle ends with a hollow rivet that serves as a lanyard hole. To prevent your hand from slipping onto the blade during work, the knife is equipped with a solid steel bolster with a satin finish. The delivery includes a moulded leather sheath made of brown leather, fitted with a belt loop and a safety strap with a snap button to ensure the knife stays secure while you move.

Care and Maintenance

To ensure this beauty serves you for many years and looks as good as new, it deserves a little of your care. Clean and dry the knife after every use. Although the steel is stainless, prolonged exposure to moisture or acidic juices is not beneficial. The wooden handle should be treated with special wood oil or linseed oil from time to time to prevent it from drying out and to maintain its rich colour. Never wash the knife in a dishwasher! Aggressive salts and high temperatures would irreversibly damage both the wooden handle and the edge.

Safety Warning

Please bear in mind that this is a tool with a very sharp blade. Exercise caution when handling it to avoid injury to yourself or others around you. The knife is not designed for throwing or prying heavy objects (e.g., opening crates); other tools serve those purposes. When using it on hard materials (bones, frozen wood), proceed with care to avoid damaging the edge bevel.
